Gilbert Gamboa Perez

On, March 30, 2017, Gilbert Perez, age 67, passed away surrounded by his loved ones, family and friends. He was truly a son of God with very strong faith. He was a true believer of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He was a craft technician III for aircraft jet fighters, F-16 and F-11, for Sierracin/Sylmar. In his 17 year career he invented a clamp which saved millions of dollars for his company. Gilbert and his wife Linda met in 1973, Linda was 17 and Gilbert was 21. They married on June 18, 1977 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in San Fernando, CA. For 39 years they were happily married. He was very caring, compassionate, loving and sincere person who always put others before himself. He leaves behind his wife Linda of 39 years of marriage. His brothers, Fred Perez and Rudy Perez, his niece/goddaughter Deanna Perez (Greg), his sister in law Jessie Hernandez (Pat) and Frances Hernandez (Lupe), his nephew/godsons Patrick Hernandez Jr. and Steven Hernandez, nephews Fred Perez Jr., Anthony, Ruben and Ramon Perez, nieces Natalie Avitia Hernandez and Desiree Perez, many more nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Epimenio Perez, his mother Hortencia Gamboa Perez, brother Danny Perez, sister Gloria Perez, nephew Daniel Perez and niece Marianne Hernandez Chavarria.
